Malcolm solos with Ken looking on. Photo by Sean CapuanoMalcolm Ford on the electric upright bass has shared the stage with locals Donald Washington, Sam Jones, Angel Scott, The Aligator Zydeco Band, Timmy Tanzania, Real Trouble and others.
Malcolm currently performs in the funk/soul/rock band Blue Train and with amazing Charlie X in the Blue Trane guitar/bass duo. Malcolm still finds time to play bass in church and coach football and baseball.
He is the rhythmic backbone of the group, providing strong supporting bass lines and solos and grooving on many funk, latin and jazz grooves with Ken on the drums.
